Children Protection Policy

Child Protection Policy

Child abuse and neglect are global concerns that represent serious violations of a child’s fundamental human rights. Such experiences can significantly hinder a child’s educational journey, emotional well-being, physical health, and overall development. The Centre for Competence Development Cyprus – COMCY fully supports and aligns with the principles outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, to which Cyprus is a committed signatory.

COMCY, through its active engagement in European-funded education, training, and social inclusion projects, recognizes its role as a key actor in promoting and protecting the rights of children. As such, COMCY is dedicated to ensuring that all children who engage in or are affected by its activities are provided with a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment.

This commitment is embedded in our organizational culture, practices, and project implementation, as we work towards fostering inclusive learning spaces where every child can grow, participate, and thrive without fear of harm or discrimination.
